They met at their first company in SMITS, An IT Subsidiary of San Miguel. Shirley works as an IT Business Analyst while JP as a Programmer.
Just a common date 🙂, getting to know each other better.
Since she loves milktea, JP setup a surprise for shirley on valentines day and in her favorite milktea shop. That night, JP asked her to be his girlfriend and she said YES! 🤗
JP planned the proposal during their vacation in the snowy season of Sapporo, Japan. And she said YES! ✨

As we are finally down few more days before our big day, we have prepared answers to some FAQs that may not be clear due to tight schedule for our wedding preparations.
For our guests who will be bringing their own car, you may use Waze and just key in "L & J Country Estate".
You can also Grab your way to the venue and pin "L&J Country Estate Mendez Cavite".
Better to allot 2 to 2.5 hours if you'll be coming from the North as this should already give you enough travel time given the "Ber" month traffic conditions.
We encourage you to arrive at 3:30 PM as the entourage starts to line up at this time. Processional will start at exactly 4 PM and this will be strictly followed. It would be nice to see you all while we are having our first walk down the aisle!
Yes! There is a free parking area within L&J Country Estate but on a first come, first served basis. Let me know if you will be bringing car so we can reserve you a slot.
Preps would be in L&J Country Estate. There are several hotels and Airbnb options near the area. You can also reserve a room in the preps area and we can help you book a room. Just let us know.
Sorry, it's a NO. Unless we have personally confirmed this. As much as we want to accommodate all our friends and family, we have limited number of seats available due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we made the difficult choice to keep our wedding pretty intimate and that means we are limiting number of attendees on our wedding day. Unfortunately, those who will come unexpected will not find their name in our seating arrangement. We hope that you can understand that it's nothing personal, and respect our wishes to keep our sacred event small.
Attire: Formal
Gents: Coat and tie and/or collared long sleeves (in black / rust )
Ladies: Cocktail dress / Long dress (in rust / champagne shades)
We hope our wedding will be a fun excuse to dress up and be fab! NO MAONG, NO T-SHIRT, NO SHORTS, NO BLACK and No casual attires please.
***Don't forget your Facemask. We will be awarding Best Dressed Male and Female!!!
It would be sad for us that you can no longer attend our wedding event as we have specifically invited those who are close to our hearts. However, please do let us know as soon as possible so we can still give your allotted seat to other guest/s.
No. It took us a lot of effort to finish the seating arrangement which is planned for everyone's network preference and group familiarity so no need to worry. You will be informed of your table and seat assignment during registration at the Reception Venue.
Kindly refrain from frequently transferring seats/tables. Don't forget to bring your vaccination card and answer truthfully the prepared Health Checklist as part of the safety protocols to prevent the further spread of COVID-19 Pandemic.

It took us a year to plan a wedding that everyone would hopefully enjoy. We aim to end the program at around 8:00PM, but we have the venue until 10 PM so there will still be drinks and dancing after. Please don't eat and run! :)

We are blessed to be allowed to gather on this special day. However, we will be implementing standard health protocols throughout the ceremony and celebration. Please wear facemask as you roam around. Specific instructions will be given when can you remove them during the program.
